    • Base salary: USD $132,500 to $196,000 + LTIP
    • Location: Florida / Northeast US / Greater Chicago area
    • Role: Permanent, full-time, hybrid

    About the Role

Navico Group, a division of Brunswick Corporation, is seeking a strategic and people-focused Director of Sales, OEM to lead and grow our OEM sales business across North America.

This is a critical leadership role within our AMER Sales organisation, responsible for driving growth across one of our most important sales channels. The OEM channel currently represents approximately 40% of our total US business and is expected to be a major growth driver over the coming years.

Reporting to the Director, AMER Sales, this role will lead a multi-functional sales organisation focused on OEM customers across marine and adjacent verticals, while helping drive a newly implemented operating model centred around strategic key account management.

    What You Will Do

    • Lead and develop the OEM sales organisation across North America, ensuring strong execution against revenue and growth targets
    • Coach and mentor direct reports, with a strong focus on leadership development and performance management
    • Drive the adoption of a strategic Key Account Management (KAM) model across the team
    • Build and execute commercial growth strategies for OEM accounts across multiple business segments
    • Strengthen cross-functional collaboration across sales, product, operations, and leadership teams
    • Support organisational transformation and help establish scalable sales processes, discipline, and accountability
    • Maintain and grow executive-level customer relationships with strategic OEM accounts
    • Identify whitespace opportunities, new market segments, and long-term growth initiatives

    Team Leadership Scope

This role manages a team of 17 employees (including the Director) with 4 direct reports.

    The organisation includes:

    Freshwater OEM Team

Focused on high-volume inland marine segments, including:

    • Pontoon boats
    • Bass boats
    • Freshwater recreational marine

    Saltwater OEM Team

Focused on coastal marine markets with more complex solutions involving:

    • Larger vessels
    • Advanced systems integration
    • Higher-value solutions

Industrial / RV / Speciality Vehicles Team

Responsible for non-marine OEM opportunities involving battery and power solutions across segments such as:

    • Recreational vehicles (RVs)
    • Specialty vehicles
    • Industrial applications
    • Custom mobility solutions

Examples may include golf carts, service vans, camper conversions, and industrial equipment.

    Inside Sales

Includes inside sales support aligned with OEM business development.

    What Success Looks Like

Success in this role will come from more than maintaining customer relationships.

We already have strong market relationships and a capable team. The greatest opportunity lies in improving:

    • Team coaching
    • Sales execution
    • Strategic account planning
    • Leadership consistency
    • Commercial discipline

The ideal candidate will elevate team performance by building capability and helping newer leaders succeed.

    What We Are Looking For

    Required Experience

    • 8–12+ years of sales leadership experience in B2B, OEM, channel, or enterprise sales environments
    • Experience leading managers and developing high-performing sales teams
    • Strong strategic account management experience
    • Proven success in managing complex customer relationships and large commercial accounts
    • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate strategy into execution
    • Experience driving change, transformation, or organisational improvement
    • Ability to travel extensively across North America

    Preferred Background

Experience in one or more of the following industries is highly desirable:

    • Marine
    • Automotive OEM
    • Industrial equipment

    • Strategic and commercially minded
    • Comfortable leading through change
    • Skilled at influencing senior stakeholders
    • Data-driven and operationally disciplined
    • Able to balance customer relationships with internal leadership

This role requires a leader who can build capability—not just manage existing business.

    Travel

    • Up to 50–60% travel required
    • Travel primarily within the United States and Canada
    • Travel frequency is expected to be higher initially while establishing team cadence and coaching rhythms, and may decrease over time
