Director of Sales – Holiday Inn & Suites (IHG) – Full Service Property
We are seeking a driven, experienced Director of Sales to lead the sales efforts at our full-service Holiday Inn & Suites, home to Grata Bar & Grille. This role is ideal for a results-oriented hospitality professional who excels at building relationships, driving revenue, and creating strategic plans that position the hotel for long-term success. Salary is negotiable based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute annual sales and marketing strategies to maximize revenue across all segments (Corporate, Group, SMERF, Government, etc.).
- Actively prospect, solicit, and secure new business through outside sales calls, networking, and community involvement.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing accounts and ensure high levels of account satisfaction.
- Prepare and analyze weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports; track performance against goals.
- Lead, mentor, and collaborate with the sales team to achieve property sales targets.
- Conduct property tours, attend industry events, and represent the hotel professionally in the community.
- Oversee the execution of group bookings, contracts, and catering-related event details in partnership with operations and the restaurant team at Grata Bar & Grille.
- Work closely with the General Manager and department heads to align sales strategies with overall hotel objectives.
- Ensure compliance with IHG brand standards and maintain up-to-date knowledge of local market trends and competitors.
- Manage all sales systems, RFPs, and IHG tools (such as IHG Marketplace, Amadeus/Delphi, or similar platforms).
- Support revenue management efforts, including strategy meetings, rate recommendations, and forecasting.
- Maintain a visible presence at large events, key client meetings, and community functions.
