SUMMARY OF POSITION: The Director of State & Federal Programs and Elementary MTSS Coordinator provides leadership and oversight of the district's Title I and related state and federal programs. This position ensures full compliance with state and federal regulations while aligning programs with district goals and the overall instructional framework. Responsibilities include grant administration, budgeting and fiscal oversight, program evaluation, data analysis, and professional development. In collaboration with district and school leaders, the Director works to maximize the impact of federal resources to improve student achievement and close achievement gaps.
In addition, the Director leads the implementation of the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) for grades K-5. Working closely with elementary principals, intervention teams, and teachers, this role supports structured problem-solving processes, data-driven decision-making, and the delivery of academic and behavioral interventions across all tiers. Through coaching, facilitation of team meetings, and targeted professional development, the Director ensures fidelity of MTSS implementation and strengthens instructional practices to support the success of all elementary students.
