As a Director of Systems supporting the Five Star Painting brand, you will:

• Support Franchise Tools: Manage the daily performance and adoption of the tools our owners rely on (CRM, POS, websites, and call center platforms).
  
• Lead System Rollouts: Coordinate the testing, launch, and training for new software updates and operational tools.
  
• Problem Solve: Act as the primary point of contact to help resolve system issues that impact daily franchise operations.
  
• Partner with Vendors: Work closely with corporate tech teams and third-party vendors to keep systems running smoothly.
  
• Simplify Processes: Streamline workflows to make tools easier and more efficient for franchisees to use.
  
• Track Insights: Build simple dashboards and reports to help brand leadership and owners track performance data.

(Required qualifications)

• Experience:
  
  • 5+ Years: Managing business systems within a franchise, corporate brand, or multi-location environment.
    
  • Operations Tech: Expertise in managing vendor relations, system integrations, and operational workflows.
    
  • Project Management: Proven track record in strategic road mapping and cross-functional coordination.
    
  • AI Savvy: Familiarity with emerging AI applications (preferred).
    

• Skills:
  
  • Franchise Mindset: A strong understanding of how franchise or multi-unit businesses operate.
    
  • Software Familiarity: Practical experience supporting day-to-day business tools like CRMs, scheduling software, or customer platforms.
    
  • Strong Communication: The ability to explain technical tools simply and build great relationships with independent franchise owners.
    
  • Independence: A resourceful problem-solver who enjoys owning projects from start to finish.
    
  • Adaptability: Comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growing business.
    
• Education: Bachelor's degree required; Master's or MBA highly preferred.
  
• Schedule / in-office requirements:
  
  • Travel Required (25%)
    
  • (Hybrid working model; Mon-Wed in office, Thur/Fri from home)
