    Job Description

Director of Talent Acquisition and Development

    Atlanta, GA

Our client, a rapidly growing industrial services organization, is seeking a Director of Talent Acquisition. This newly created role will build and lead the North American talent engine required to keep pace with that growth—managing a lean team, supporting a portfolio that typically ranges from 20 to 50 active openings, and creating the capacity to hire approximately 100 specialized technicians annually.

The mandate extends well beyond requisition management. This leader will partner closely with Operations, Finance, HR Business Partners and executive leadership to anticipate future revenue opportunities, convert workforce and talent-assessment insights into recruiting actions, create qualified pipelines before openings arise, and elevate the systems, employer brand, data and operating discipline of the function.

    Why this role

    •      Newly created, high-visibility seat: you report into and directly enable the CHRO during a critical North American integration.

    •      Real scope and real impact: own trades and corporate recruiting across the US and Canada, not just one region.

    •      Build, don't maintain: elevate a junior TA team, stand up modern process and tooling (including a new HRIS rollout), and leave your fingerprint on how the company hires.

    •      Backing to move fast: a results-driven, PE-backed culture that rewards initiative and speed.

    What you'll do

    •      Lead hands-on, high-volume recruiting (~50% of your time) with a strong focus on field technicians and field leaders, plus ownership of corporate roles.

    •      Partner with operations and finance to align headcount planning and close the gap between hiring targets and hiring capacity.

    •      Build proactive talent pipelines in every market, including a strong bias toward tapping military talent for technician roles.

    •      Drive employer-branding and internal programs such as referral bonuses.

    •      Sit close to the business, with regular exposure to operational leadership.

    What you bring

    •      Proven trades / blue-collar recruiting experience at volume — this is mandatory

    •      Ability to commute to in-person office in Atlanta, GA

    •      A go-getter mentality: aggressive, resourceful, high energy to fill roles

    •      Corporate recruiting experience as well as field/technical recruiting

    •      PE-backed company experience is a strong plus; M&A exposure is a nice-to-have

    Compensation

    •      $150-160K base with 10-20% bonus potential
