Director of Talent Acquisition
Why This is an Exciting Role:
Boeing Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A) is currently seeking a Director of Talent Acquisition to join the team in Annapolis Junction, MD.
The Director of Talent Acquisition will be part of the BI&A Senior Leadership Team and owns strategic oversight and execution to attract, hire, and retain top talent within BI&A to support a portfolio of Defense, Intelligence, and National Security programs. The position reports directly to the CEO and partners directly with senior leadership and program managers to shape organizational hiring while leading a team of recruiters.
The Director of Talent Acquisition is responsible for developing and executing strategies to attract, hire, and retain top talent, aligning recruitment with organizational goals.
Strategic Planning: Develop and execute BI&A-wide talent acquisition strategies that align with business goals. This includes workforce planning, succession planning, and identifying high-potential leaders.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of recruiters, fostering a high-performance culture focused on collaboration, accountability, and service excellence.
Recruitment Process Management: Oversee end-to-end recruitment, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviews, and onboarding. Optimize workflows and applicant tracking systems to improve efficiency and candidate experience.
Branding and Talent Pipeline Development: Enhance BI&A's brand to attract top talent and maintain a robust talent pipeline for current and future needs.
Analytics and Reporting: Use data-driven insights to measure recruitment effectiveness, predict talent needs, and support strategic decision-making.
Collaboration: Partner with human resources, marketing & communications, and senior leadership teams to ensure alignment of recruitment strategies with overall business objectives.
Recruiting: In addition to the above areas, the Direct of Talent Acquisition will be hands-on as a recruiter helping to hire and close candidates.
Experience and Qualifications:
To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:
Required Education and Years of Experience:
15 years of experience in talent acquisition with at least 10 years as a recruiter or leading recruiting teams;
Bachelor's degree in related field
Four additional years of experience related to this position can be substituted for a degree
Required Qualifications:
Successful track record as a recruiter supporting DoD/DoW, National Security, and/or Intelligence Community programs
Experience managing other recruiters and talent acquisition teams
Successful track record of attracting candidates to a company
Experience hosting and attending industry hiring events
Experience overseeing end-to-end recruitment, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviews, and onboarding.
Experience with optimizing workflows and applicant tracking systems to improve efficiency and candidate experience
Experience with implementing successful referral programs
Successful track record maintaining a robust talent pipeline for current and future needs
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Experience leveraging recruiting technologies, such as LinkedIn Recruiter, to enhance sourcing and engagement
Experience using Taleo as an application tracking system
Willingness to travel occasionally for hiring events
Desired Qualifications:
Experience supporting recruitment for Intelligence Community programs in Annapolis Junction
Experience supporting recruitment for Intelligence Community programs in Northern Virginia
Experience supporting recruitment for polygraph cleared positions
Experience supporting recruitment for software, data, AI/ML, and cloud skill sets
Telework/Remote Availability: Hybrid work authorized. At least three days a week in the Annapolis Junction, MD office(s)

Summary Pay Range:
Please note that the information shown below is a general guideline only. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
$170,000 - $180,000
