The Director of Talent Acquisition will serve as a strategic, senior-level subject matter expert in recruitment and talent development, leading key initiatives across organizational, team, and employee-level growth. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, leading full-cycle recruitment; partnering with leadership to forecast hiring needs and build proactive pipelines; enhancing employer branding and candidate experience; managing relationships with external recruiters and staffing agencies; designing and implementing training, leadership development, and succession planning programs; and assessing organizational needs to strengthen culture, engagement, and retention. Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition:
Lead full-cycle recruitment for senior-level and specialized roles.
Partner with leadership to forecast hiring needs and build proactive pipelines.
Enhance employer branding and candidate experience.
Partner with external recruiters and staffing agencies, establishing and maintaining strong relationships to support hiring needs
Develop sourcing strategies to attract diverse and high-caliber talent.
Organizational Development & Training:
Design and implement training programs, leadership development initiatives, and succession planning.
Partner with managers to identify skill gaps and provide targeted development solutions.
Assess organizational needs and recommend strategies to strengthen culture, engagement, and retention.
Measure effectiveness of training and OD initiatives and refine as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Communication, etc...
Preferred: Advanced degree (MS, MBA, JD) with emphasis in Leadership, Psychology or Organizational Development
7+ years of experience in talent acquisition and/or development, with at least 3 years in a senior or strategic role.
Preferred: Experience within the Professional Services Industry, with a growth-oriented Law Firm
Proven experience in organizational development, training, and/or talent management.
Strong business acumen & ability to align People strategy with organizational goals.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
