Job Summary:
The University of Colorado School of Medicine (CUSOM) has a position open for Director of Teaching Scholars Program (TSP) under the Office of Medical Education's Academy of Medical Educators (AME) team. The established FTE for this role is 0.10-0.15 FTE. Candidates must be able to obtain a faculty appointment at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, and applicants must be a board-certified physician with an MD or DO degree from an accredited University. This individual will start this position on January 1, 2027.
The Director of the Teaching Scholars Program (TSP) provides strategic leadership, oversight, and continuous improvement for the Academy of Medical Educators' flagship faculty development program. The Director is responsible for advancing the program's mission of developing future leaders in health professions education through a comprehensive curriculum focused on educational scholarship, curriculum development, mentorship, and leadership development. The position serves faculty across the Anschutz Medical Campus and collaborates closely with institutional leaders, program faculty, mentors, and the Academy of Medical Educators.

The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE:
Instructor: The salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established at $10,000-$37,500, representing 0.10-0.15 FTE of salary support, up to the $250,000 educational salary cap
Senior Instructor: The salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established at $10,000-$37,500, representing 0.10-0.15 FTE of salary support, up to the $250,000 educational salary cap
Assistant Professor: The salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established at $10,000-$37,500, representing 0.10-0.15 FTE of salary support, up to the $250,000 educational salary cap
