Director of Technical Asset Management

GA Telesis is seeking an experienced Director of Technical Asset Management to join our well-known Asset management team in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This individual will report to the VP of Technical Asset Management.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the VP of Technical Asset Management to ensure achievement of company’s business goals and objectives
• Oversee the technical team to meet all technical requirements to successfully complete the purchase, sale and/or leasing of aircraft, engines, components and meet the business objectives
• Meet aggressive milestones and deadlines for the evaluation of assets for purchase, sale and while on lease including technical acceptance for a purchase or satisfying contractual requirements for records related a sale
• Support the commercial team in development of contracts, purchase agreements, leases, and sale agreements to ensure that all documents properly identify client’s technical requirements in order to realize the maximum value of an acquisition or sale of an asset
• Identify bottlenecks and apply continuous improvement methodologies
• Produce reports on a monthly / quarterly basis to meet periodical and annual objectives

Requirements:

• A&P FAA licensed mechanic, engineer or equivalent
• Detailed understanding of technical records
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience including supervising a team
• Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to solve problems under pressure
• Able to travel 25-60% of the time, domestic and international
• Excellent computer skills with MS Excel, Word and Access
