Director of Technical Marketing

Position: Director of Technical Marketing

Location: Vancouver, WA

Wilder Technologies, LLC, based in Vancouver, Washington, develops and manufactures high-speed compliance test fixtures and solutions used in data communications, USB, DisplayPort, HDMI, PCIe, automotive, storage, and other advanced electronics applications. Wilder serves customers worldwide with specialized expertise in high-speed signal integrity, test automation, precision electro-mechanical design, and production.

We are seeking a Director of Technical Marketing who combines technical curiosity with strong communication and project management skills. In this role, you will help bring advanced connectivity technologies to life through customer-facing demonstrations, marketing initiatives, and industry engagement. You will work closely with engineering, product management, sales, and marketing teams to showcase how Amphenol's solutions support next-generation AI, data center, networking, and high-performance computing applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Active engagements and participations in OIF, IEEE and other ethernet standards.
• Work closely with engineers in developing experiments and writing papers for 448G and 896G technologies
• Develop and maintain demonstration platforms that showcase Wilder’s solutions and capabilities.
• Create engaging technical contents for customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events by generating slides and physical demonstrations.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and sales teams to communicate the value of new products and technologies.
• Support customer engagements by providing technical expertise and product knowledge.
• Help develop technical marketing content, including presentations, white papers, brochures , webinars, short video demonstrations and case studies.
• Support product launches, marketing campaigns, and industry events such as DesignCon, OFC, and OCP Summit.
• Monitor market trends, emerging technologies, and competitive activity within AI, cloud, networking, and data center markets.
• Represent Amphenol at customer meetings, partner engagements, and industry conferences.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing, or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of experience in technical marketing, applications engineering, product marketing, solutions engineering, or a related role.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively across engineering, marketing, sales, and product management teams.
• Knowledge of data center, networking, AI, cloud, storage, or high-speed interconnect technologies is a plus.
• Experience supporting trade shows, product launches, customer roadshows, or industry events.
• Working knowledge of market analysis, competitive positioning, and product value proposition development.
• Experience collaborating with global teams and customers.
• Comfort presenting to customers, partners, and large audiences.
• Experience developing customer-facing technical presentations, demonstrations, webinars, application notes, white papers, or marketing collateral.
