Job Summary

We are seeking a hands-on Technical Program Manager to lead and drive execution across a fast-growing, multi-disciplinary product portfolio. This role owns end-to-end program planning, scheduling, and delivery across engineering and operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on scope, and at high quality.

This is a highly visible leadership role reporting to executive leadership and responsible for managing a team of Project Managers while also staying deeply involved in program execution. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced hardware environment and is comfortable working directly with engineering teams on the floor to remove blockers and drive results.

This is a full-time, on-site position in Torrance, CA. No remote or hybrid option.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead execution of multiple concurrent technical programs from concept through production
  • Own integrated schedules, milestones, budgets, and cross-functional alignment
  • Drive program reviews and ensure delivery against scope, schedule, cost, and quality goals
  • Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and recovery plans
  • Oversee Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) efforts for program issues
  • Manage and mentor a team of Project Managers
  • Improve program management tools, processes, and reporting standards
  • Partner closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Product teams
  • Provide executive-level status updates, risks, and decision points

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field required
  • 10+ years of technical program/project management experience in hardware or complex systems
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing PM or engineering teams
  • Experience in regulated or high-reliability industries preferred (medical, defense, Pro AV, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of product development lifecycle and RCCA methodologies
  • PMP certification preferred
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Experience working in ISO 9001 / ISO 13485 environments a plus
