Kforce has a client in Saint Louis, MO that is seeking a Director of Technology. Responsibilities:
  • Own the Salesforce platform roadmap: prioritize initiatives, sequence releases, and align the platform to firm-wide business objectives
  • Stay hands-on: design and build Flows, review your team's work, own the data model (custom objects, fields, validation rules), and set integration patterns
  • Ensure platform stability, performance, and security
  • Establish governance for releases, sandbox management, and change control
  • Drive adoption and satisfaction across 90+ Salesforce users
  • Evaluate new Salesforce products (Agentforce, Data Cloud) as they mature and become relevant to firm operations
  • Manage and develop three direct reports: a Salesforce Developer, a Salesforce Administrator, and a Systems Administrator
  • Run weekly 1:1s and the team meeting, own bug triage, and manage work intake across Jira and Salesforce
  • Build documentation and processes that reflect the current state of tribal knowledge
  • Cross-train where gaps exist
  • Manage our external consulting partner relationship - deliverable tracking, knowledge transfer, and quarterly value reviews
  • Define the architecture for integrations between Salesforce, Snowflake (data warehouse), Claude, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, RingCentral, and other business applications
  • Oversee broader technology infrastructure - network, security, endpoint management - through the Systems Administrator
  • Manage the technology budget and vendor relationships
  • Present roadmap and budget updates to the CEO monthly
  • Operationalize our AI initiatives through Claude and Agentforce
  • Identify where AI changes the work - then build the governance, data foundations, and team skills to ship it responsibly

Requirements:

  • Certification: Salesforce Administrator or Platform App Builder minimum; Architect-track certifications are a plus, not a gate
  • 5+ years hands-on in the Salesforce ecosystem - administration, development, or architecture - and still hands-on today
  • Deep knowledge of Flows, data model design, and integration patterns; Fluency reading Apex and Lightning Web Components
  • Sales Cloud depth; Our platform is built on Sales Cloud - you should know it cold
  • Experience leading people or projects - as a team lead, consulting lead, or senior practitioner who mentored and developed others; You don't need to have held a director title; you need to be ready for one
  • Genuine, demonstrated AI engagement; You use tools like Claude, Copilot, Gemini, or Agentforce in your own work, you've built or experimented with agents, and you follow the space closely because you're excited about the technology
  • Strong communication; You can present to executive leadership, translate technical concepts for attorneys and case managers, and write documentation that doesn't require a decoder ring

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
