POSITION SUMMARY The Director is responsible for the operation of Pharmacy Services, including strategic planning, day-to-day operations, pharmaceutical care, clinical and distributive services, financial mangement and personnel management. Pharmacy Services includes both inpatient and ambulatory pharmay locations and serives EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS, TRAINING and EXPERIENCE: Minimum Required: BS Pharmacy or Pharm D., Valid NC license to practice pharmacy. Substantial experience as a hospital pharmacist Preferred: Above plus MBA or MPH. Pharmacy Practice Residency (or equivalent) with Board of Pharmacy Specialty (BPS) certification. . Incumbent will be required to attain a minimum of 15 hours of ACPE approved continuing education annually.
