$150K–$180K Base + Bonus | Hybrid, 4 Days/Week | Charlotte, NC

A leading real estate investment management firm is seeking a Director, Portfolio Management & Finance to join its Charlotte team. This strategic role focuses on capital markets execution, portfolio analytics, fund management, and investment performance across a diversified real estate portfolio.

This is an excellent opportunity for a real estate finance professional with strong capital markets experience to lead debt execution, oversee fund performance, manage lender relationships, and partner closely with acquisitions, asset management, development, accounting, and executive leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead property-level debt, refinancing, interest rate hedge, and co-investment equity transactions
• Manage lender relationships and financing processes from origination through closing
• Oversee portfolio valuations, forecasting, fund modeling, capital planning, and performance analysis
• Prepare hold/sell/refinance analyses and Investment Committee materials
• Evaluate structured finance investments, including preferred equity and mezzanine debt
• Partner cross-functionally with acquisitions, asset management, development, accounting, and investor relations while mentoring junior team members

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of real estate finance, capital markets, lending, REIT, or private equity real estate experience
• Proven debt execution and lender relationship management experience
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills (valuations, IRR/NPV, fund modeling, waterfalls)
• Argus experience preferred
• Strong commercial real estate knowledge, particularly multifamily and retail
• Structured finance experience is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required; MBA preferred
