The Director of Power Construction is responsible for leading the successful execution of the company's Power construction operations across Distribution, Transmission, Substations, EV Infrastructure, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Renewable Energy and other utility infrastructure projects. 


Key Responsibilities


  • Lead Power construction operations from project handoff through final completion.
  •  Provide leadership and direction to Construction Managers, Project Managers, Site Supervisors, and field teams. 
  •  Ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards. 
  •  Establish consistent construction processes and best practices across all Power operations. 
  • Oversee project execution to ensure performance against safety, schedule, quality and financial objectives.
  • Monitor project performance and proactively address operational risks. 
  • Support project teams in resolving technical and operational challenges. 
  •  Lead, mentor, and develop construction leadership. 
  • Drive accountability across all levels of the construction organization.


Skills, Knowledge and Expertise


  • Experience leading large-scale Distribution, Transmission, Substation, or utility infrastructure projects;
  • Demonstrated experience managing construction operations, field organizations and multiple concurrent projects;
  • Experience leading Project Managers, Construction Managers, and field leadership teams;
  • Strong understanding of utility construction practices and project delivery
