Job Summary/Purpose
The Director, Power Development - Solar & Energy Storage is responsible for the strategic leadership, oversight, and successful delivery of Entergy's utility‑scale solar and energy storage development pipeline. This role provides vision and direction for front‑end project development, ensuring projects are safely executed, cost‑competitive, aligned with sustainability goals, and positioned for long‑term operational success.
The Director leads a cross‑functional organization of project development professionals and serves as a key liaison across internal and external stakeholders including engineering, project management, regulatory, commercial, construction management, and external partners. This role also ensures adherence to Entergy's Stage Gate Process (SGP), development best practices, and continuous improvement across the renewable project portfolio.

Minimum Requirements
Minimum education required of the position
Minimum experience required of the position
Minimum of ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in the utility industry with experience in major capital project development, planning, execution, and control.
(15) years of experince desired.
Minimum of ten (10) years of supervisory or leadership experience.
Preferred experience in utility‑scale solar and/or energy storage project origination and development.
Deep knowledge of the development lifecycle including land, resource assessment, permitting, interconnection, commercial structuring, and early‑stage engineering desired.
