A Career that Empowers You to Build Your Future
The Director, Procurement Operations leads the transformation and scale of Lennar’s end-to-end procurement operating model — spanning vendor onboarding, requisition approval, purchase order execution, and change order resolution. Partnering across Finance, IT, Legal, and business leadership, this role drives AI adoption, workflow automation, and data-driven performance management to deliver compliance, visibility, and operational efficiency at enterprise scale.

Your Responsibilities on the Team
•Lead the transformation and scale of Lennar’s end-to-end procurement operating model —
spanning vendor onboarding, requisition approval, purchase order execution, and change order resolution.
•Own and optimize enterprise procurement workflows, policies, approval hierarchies, and
governance frameworks across divisions in partnership with Finance, IT, Accounting, Legal, and business leadership.
•Establish procurement governance standards, internal controls, policy compliance frameworks, and audit-readiness processes that scale with enterprise growth.
•Build and empower a high-performing procurement operations organization of managers,
specialists, and partners focused on operational excellence and stakeholder experience.
•Govern the full PR-to-PO lifecycle — intake, approval routing, conversion, and closure — with a focus on cycle-time optimization and spend authorization compliance.
•Ensure PO accuracy, contract alignment, and audit readiness across legal entities, currencies, and accounting treatment, driving overall PO compliance.
•Establish change order protocols covering documentation, pricing validation, budget impact,
approvals, and escalation paths to minimize unauthorized or late-stage change orders.
•Drive vendor lifecycle management, renewals governance, and spend optimization in partnership with sourcing and business stakeholders.
•Lead evaluation and operationalization of AI-powered tools and workflow automation across
PR/PO routing, invoice matching, exception management, and supplier intelligence; partner with IT to integrate P2P and ERP capabilities.
•Own the procurement operations KPI portfolio — cycle time, throughput, PO on-time delivery,
change order rate, spend under management, policy compliance, and supplier performance —
and deliver executive-level reporting that informs strategic decision-making.

Your Toolbox
•Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field required; MBA preferred.
•10+ years of progressive procurement, procure-to-pay, finance operations, or supply chain
experience, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
•Demonstrated experience managing PR, PO, and change order workflows and scaling
procurement operations in enterprise or high-growth environments.
•Proven track record deploying procurement transformation, automation, or AI procurement
solutions at scale.
•Experience supporting governance, internal controls, compliance, and audit readiness in public-company or SOX-controlled environments preferred.
•Proficiency with procure-to-pay and ERP platforms such as Zip, JD Edwards, NetSuite, or Coupa.
•CPSM or CPM certification preferred.
•Executive presence and proven ability to influence senior leadership and drive cross-functional alignment.
•Strategic mindset paired with operational execution expertise; strong analytical, systems-thinking, and process-optimization capabilities.
•Outstanding communication, presentation, and change management skills with the ability to
engage effectively at all levels of the organization.
•Proven ability to drive scalable operational transformation in fast-paced, results-driven
environments.

Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements:
This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the incumbent to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary.
