Job Description
The Product and Payment Services Risk (PPSR) organization at Visa covers all business units/payment verticals (e.g., Acceptance Solutions, Issuing Solutions, Risk and Identity Solutions) and is focused on product builds, pipeline and portfolio execution and tackling risks inherent in each area. The Risk Business Partner, Risk and Identity Solutions, is responsible to manage and continually improve Risk and Identity Solutions enterprise risk management capability and risk profile. The Risk partner will be responsible to embed themselves within the business units to help identify, assess, monitor potential risks, and strengthen key controls across multiple teams. The role significantly impacts the business unit and company as this individual must be able to effectively aggregate and communicate Risk and Identity’s main enterprise risks to Visa’s Senior Management.
The risk partner will provide constructive challenge to first line functions where appropriate and make recommendations to Senior Management on controls or other actions required to drive risk mitigation and reduce exposure. The individual will be regarded as a trusted business partner that can consult executive management to make key risk decisions, leveraging the expertise of the risk and business teams. The candidate is to be viewed by the organization as knowledgeable, capable, competent, and an agent for change.
The risk partner provides oversight to business teams and cross functional stakeholders (e.g., Client Services, Revenue Operations, and Technology) to execute on risk management related to products, services, and operations, consistent with Visa’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework and Risk Appetite. This will include appropriate roll out of Visa’s First and Second line control programs across the business. This role requires practical & strategic understanding of the payments industry, business environment and demonstrated experience assessing risks associated with business imperative/strategies. This individual must work collaboratively with cross functional and geographically diverse teams to execute against a common goal of protecting the enterprise.
