PeaceHealth Rehab and Wellness Center in Florence, Oregon is seeking a Dir Rehab Services for a Full Time, 1.00 FTE, Day position. The salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is $71.02 - $106.54.

The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, seniority, etc.

We deliver rehabilitation services to a diverse outpatient caseload; we also provide care to inpatients in our 21 bed Critical Access Hospital! We also have a Swing bed rehab program within the hospital, served by a dynamic interdisciplinary team.

Our spacious remodeled gym is furnished with newer equipment, including electric mat tables, powered parallel bars, and Sci-fit bikes. We also have a dynamic vestibular program utilizing the RealEyes xDVR Video Goggles. Each therapist has their own computer-on-wheels to document at point of service.

Job Summary

This position is responsible for providing operational leadership and for planning, developing and directing patient care programs and related capital projects for Rehabilitation Services in the assigned Network. The Dir Rehab Services must ensure that quality and performance improvement activities meet their target conditions. The Dir Rehab Services is responsible to adhere to all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and standards for their areas and to be continuously ready for any survey on those regulations or standards.

What you will do:

  • Provides leadership for operational effectiveness, clinical excellence and personnel management. Supervises staff for assigned services and programs.
  • Creates and monitors infrastructure, systems, processes and standards to achieve desired outcomes in collaboration with medical directors, department chairs and medical staff.
  • Fiscal and business planning that promotes revenue enhancements and cost efficiency. Develop, implement and monitor operating and capital budgets. Accountable for meeting budgetary and operational targets.
  • Develop strategic and long-range plans and policies for the effective implementation and operation of specific patient care programs and associated activities.
  • Directs recruitment, training and evaluation of personnel.
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts that promote clinical excellence, revenue enhancement and cost efficiency. Establishing and maintain collaborative relationships with physicians, department managers, staff and customer that lead to measurable improvement in patient care outcomes, efficiency and customer service.
  • Develop clinical processes that assure patient safety. Accountable for knowledge of and achieving or exceeding national benchmark and patient safety goals for scope of accountability.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance for all areas of responsibility.
  • Monitor, communicate, and work to improve patient, physician and staff satisfaction.
  • Plan, develop, implement and evaluate new patient care programs and practice models including identification of clinical objectives, capital and other resource requirements, expected operating revenues and expenses, allocation of space and organization of program personnel and other operation components.

What you bring:

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree Required: Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy or Speech Pathology or
  • Bachelor's Degree Required: Nursing or related healthcare field
  • Master's Degree Preferred: in related fieldMinimum of 5 years
  • Required: Experience in related clinical field and three years progressively responsible healthcare management experience and
  • Preferred: Experience with business development, budgeting and team development and
  • Required: Demonstrated experience in developing successful working relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Required: Upon Hire Basic Life Support
  • Preferred: Current licensure in Oregon for profession
