Director Relationship Manager-TMT

Overview: This position is responsible for acquiring and managing Technology, Media & Telecommunications "TMT" relationships. Develops and maintains an active prospect list, client outreach plan and quality referral sources. The Director role is the primary contact to provide products and services which support the unique financial needs of clients. Providing senior secured debt financing for TMT projects with key focus areas including Technology, Telecom, Entertainment & Media, Sports Financing, Casino & Gaming. This position collaborates with various corporate partners to build and manage full banking relationships. May act as resource for less experienced associates or as a team lead. Responsibilities & Qualifications: Duties & Responsibilities:
Sales & Marketing - Utilizes direct calling and centers of influence (COIs) to develop relationships and generate financing for clients. Identifies sales opportunities through clients and referral partners. Stays informed on market and industry trends, and develops strategies based on changing market needs.
Relationship Development - Maintains and develops influential relationships within the market to create sales and referral opportunities. Manages customer and prospect relationships, referring sales partners or other associates as appropriate to carry sales relationships to completion.
Operations and Administration - Comply with all regulations, bank policies, procedures and delegated authorities to manage risk related to credit, operational, reputational, regulatory and legal aspects of personal interactions, customer transactions and financial exposures. Complete required training by established deadlines.
Loan Support - Works in partnership with underwriting and portfolio management teams to package deals for Credit Committee approval.
Qualifications:
Minimum Required Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree and 8 years' experience OR High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent and 12 years' experience in Commercial Banking, Relationship Management, Sales
Preferred Education:MBA
Preferred Area of Study:Business Administration, Finance, Economics
Preferred Area of Experience:Technology, Media, Entertainment Telecom Finance

Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience in Commercial Banking, Relationship Management, Sales OR High School Diploma or GED and 12 years of experience in Commercial Banking, Relationship Management, Sales.

 

Preferred:

 

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 8+ years’ experience in originations in a leveraged finance environment and 5 years of gaming, entertainment, media and sports industry
• National and/or regional client coverage
• Strong credit and underwriting skills
• Cross-selling experience of the following commercial banking products: (treasury management, hedging, capital markets, foreign exchange)
• Effective writing and communication skills
• Formal credit training

If hired in CA, TX, NC, MA, IL, GA, NY, NJ, FL, AZ, NV, OK the base pay for this position is generally between $175,000.00 and $225,000.00. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
