We are seeking an exceptional leader to serve as the Founding Director, shaping a program that will redefine the future of reproductive health.

About the Program

The Reproductive Sciences Program will integrate basic biology, regenerative medicine, maternal-fetal health, reproductive endocrinology, IVF science, genomics, and predictive medicine. Our goal: to advance discovery from gamete to pregnancy to lifelong health for mothers, children, and families. Areas of emphasis include:

  • Assisted reproduction and IVF science, including embryo biology, pre-implantation genomics, and mosaicism.
  • Placental biology and the intrauterine environment as determinants of lifelong health.
  • Developmental origins of reproductive disorders and infertility.
  • Maternal health and pregnancy outcomes, with focus on rising maternal mortality and long-term cardiovascular/neurovascular health.
  • Integration of genetics, genomics, and stem-cell-based models into diagnosis, prevention, and therapy.

Position Overview

The Director will:

  • Define and execute a strategic vision for a nationally recognized, multidisciplinary research and clinical innovation hub.
  • Recruit and mentor outstanding faculty in both basic and clinical science.
  • Build bridges between laboratory discovery and clinical application, leveraging Cedars-Sinai's patient population and biobanking resources.
  • Foster collaborations across departments, with private-practice partners, and with leading academic institutions.
  • Secure program funding through federal grants, philanthropy, and partnerships.
  • Serve as an ambassador for the program nationally and internationally.
