Director Respiratory Therapy

A 330-bed acute care hospital and Level III Trauma Center in Manchester, NH is seeking a Director of Respiratory Therapy to lead its Respiratory Care Services division.

The role. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this director oversees a team of approximately 33 staff (16.61 FTEs) spanning the Respiratory Care department, Pulmonary Function Lab, EEG services, and Pulmonary Rehabilitation. The largest component is the Respiratory Care department itself, with roughly 22 staff members. The director is responsible for both the clinical and operational management of these departments — setting and maintaining clinical standards of practice, managing departmental budgets, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Additional focus areas include program development, physician and referral-source relationship management, and organizational improvement initiatives.

What we're looking for.

• Bachelor's Degree – Required
• 5+ years experience in Respiratory Therapy – Preferred
• State of NH Respiratory Care Practitioner License – Required

Schedule. Full-time, days, no weekends.

Compensation. $96,000 - $153,000 per year plus 17.5% Director Incentive Bonus. Sign on/Relo bonus eligible.
