Title: Director Risk Reporting, Counterparty Credit

Office Status: Hybrid New York, NY

Base Salary: $178k $231k + Discretionary Bonus

ABOUT THE ROLE

This Director-level opportunity sits within the Risk Management function of a leading global financial institution, carrying full ownership of the firmwide Counterparty Credit Risk reporting framework. The role offers exceptional visibility directly interfacing with senior management, risk committees, and regulators while playing a central part in strengthening data governance, controls, and reporting infrastructure across the organization. It's the right seat for a precision-oriented risk professional who understands that the real work lives in data integrity, source system reconciliation, and audit readiness, and who takes pride in building frameworks that hold up under scrutiny.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead the end-to-end CCR reporting framework, including senior management, Board-level, and regulatory reporting deliverables
  • Oversee governance, controls, and data quality standards across all risk reporting processes and platforms with significant focus on reconciling data back to source systems and maintaining audit readiness
  • Serve as the senior point of contact for regulators, internal audit, and internal stakeholders on all reporting-related matters
  • Drive strategic enhancements to reporting infrastructure, automation, and analytics in close partnership with Technology teams;develop new reports to support the risk management team in managing counterparty exposures
  • Establish and maintain robust governance frameworks including standards, controls, issue management, and escalation protocols
  • Ensure reporting frameworks are scalable to support new products and ongoing business growth
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of risk reporting professionals, setting clear standards for excellence and accountability
  • Leverage business intelligence and data visualization tools (e.G. Power BI) to enhance risk transparency and executive reporting
