Position Title: Director, Sales Support & Business Development

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced leader to oversee sales support, business development initiatives, and cross-functional commercial programs. This role will partner closely with Sales and Marketing leadership to drive customer growth, support new business opportunities, improve sales processes, and lead a team focused on enabling revenue-generating activities.
The ideal candidate combines strong leadership skills, business development experience, analytical thinking, and a collaborative approach to supporting a high-performing sales organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Sales leadership to identify opportunities for customer growth and new business development.
  • Develop strategies to support customer retention, expansion, and acquisition efforts.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to ensure sales teams are equipped with the tools, resources, and information needed to support business objectives.
  • Oversee lead management, pipeline support, and business development initiatives.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and provide insights to support decision-making.
  • Develop reporting and tracking processes that improve visibility into business performance.
  • Lead and develop a team responsible for sales support, training, project coordination, and operational activities.
  • Establish efficient workflows and processes to support the needs of the sales organization.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to support company-wide growth initiatives and strategic projects.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational effectiveness and customer engagement.
