Director, Senior Counsel - Esoteric ABS & Securitizations

Senior Director level opportunity serving as point person for growing Structured Finance Group with focus on securitizations (esoteric ABS, ABS, CLOs, CMBS/RMBS).

Description

• Provide legal support to structured finance, capital markets, and investment banking businesses across a broad range of securitization and financing transactions.
• Support securitization transactions across a variety of asset classes, including asset-backed securities (esoteric ABS), CLOs, residential mortgage-backed securities (RMBS), commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS), and other structured credit products
• Advise on CLO transactions, including warehouse facilities, new issuances, refinancings, resets, amendments, and ongoing deal management matters
• Support a growing Structured Finance group, partnering with senior business leaders daily.

Profile

• JD from top US Law School
• Admitted to NY State Bar
• 10+ years of experience handling structured products, securitizations, CLOs, CMBS/RMBS and asset-backed securities, including esoteric ABS.
• In-house experience advising senior business leaders on ABS transactions is required.
• Must have strong and in-depth experience with esoteric asset-backed securitizations.
• Ability to work autonomously.
