    Cvent is seeking a results-oriented, highly analytical, strategic and innovative individual to formulate business strategy, transform customer engagement and drive operational excellence via lead cross-functional projects to improve business performance. You have a strong understanding of B2B SaaS business models, market dynamics, customer segmentation and ability to translate insight into actionable business plans.

    The Role

    We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Director/Senior Manager of Internal Communications and Employee Engagement to join our team. This role is integral to our People Team and the company, responsible for overseeing the development and execution of our internal communication strategy and high-profile communication programs and initiatives. You will play a crucial role in fostering employee engagement, improving company culture, and driving business success.

    In This Role, You Will:

    • Develop and Implement Strategic Communication Plans: Provide regular communications support to HR stakeholders and other leaders, including strategy planning, content drafting, and consultation for major internal events including Cvent Annual Kickoff, Global Townhalls, Review and Promotion cycles, and Acquisitions. Ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all global offices.
    • Enhance Employee Engagement: Cultivate innovative tactics to engage remote and regional office employees. Provide regular communications support regarding employee feedback, industry trends, and key initiatives.
    • Improve Transparency and Trust: Organize and share survey feedback with Cvent leaders and support the ideation and execution of new communication strategies. Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies to support leaders in engaging with their teams.
    • Manage Employee Recognition Programs: Design and execute new methods for employee recognition and sharing project wins across the organization.
    • Foster a Unified Culture: Collaborate with Marketing & Communications colleagues to align internal and external activities, experiences, and communications.
    • Oversee CSR and ESG Initiatives: Engage with stakeholders, implement data validation processes, and track progress towards CSR goals. Provide support for Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives.
    • Crisis Communications: Handle internal crisis communications, ensuring all affected employees are informed and know where to go for assistance.
    • Manage and Improve Internal Communication Channels: Serve as the "HR Voice" across all internal communication channels, identify process gaps, improve escalation/comms workflows and ensure broad adoption and distribution of best practice guidelines. Evaluate vendor options for a global intranet, build a business case for its implementation, and oversee rollout and adoption.

    Here's What You Need:

    • Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in Communications or related fields, with a specific emphasis on enhancing employee experience and internal communications.
    • Skills: Exceptional skills in writing and visual storytelling, with a proven ability to craft compelling narratives and create engaging visual content that resonates with employees.
    • Leadership: Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing internal communication strategies and programs. Strong understanding of the employee lifecycle and relevant people programs. Experience leading and managing a global team to success.
    • Change Management: Proven ability to guide high-priority initiatives and ensure effective communication during transitions.
    • Stakeholder Management: Ability to collaborate with and influence People professionals and company leaders, actively listening to understand their communication needs and providing strategic guidance.
    • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
    • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
