Director-Service Learning
Nature of Work
Organize and coordinate Service Learning program for the campus. Direct all faculty and staff on Service Learning opportunities and requirements. Manage program functions and oversee program's budget. Support, develop, and evaluate service learning programs and research. Facilitate campus communications, course assessments, publicity, project reporting, opportunities for Study Abroad Programs ,and serve as a liaison to community partners involved in projects and events.
Examples of Work Performed
- Support and collaborate with faculty, students, and community partners in the development of Service-Learning coursework or co-curricular S-L projects.
- Provide pedagogical instruction to students, community partners, faculty/staff and administrators in the form of workshops, consultations, course orientations, and presentations.
- Consistently perform orientation for Service-Learning classes and updates orientation program as needed.
- Serve as a contact for other academic institutions, students, and community partners.
- Organize, assess, and distribute program data, including web page and promotional material. Maintain S-L institutional and historical data.
- Provide research, best-practices, and professional development opportunities for faculty/staff, students, and community partners.
- Directs faculty/staff on policy and procedure, guidelines for budget and oversees budget.
- Creates new project proposals, program growth potential, and professional development opportunities.
- Applies transcript notations by collaborating with the Registrar and continues to update, edit, and check for final accuracy.
- Serves as a primary contact for Study Abroad Programs for students, faculty/staff sponsors, and vendors.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of Service Learning experience.

Salary Information
Competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Attractive and comprehensive benefit package. Annual salary range is $56,319-$70,399.
