POSITION OVERVIEW
As a
Director, Supply Chain Mgmt VAMPIRE, your roles and responsibilities will include:
- Lead the Supply Chain organization for the Force-X business within Targeting & Sensor Systems, with responsibility for procurement and subcontracts.
- Build, lead, and develop a growing team of supply chain professionals.
- Develop workforce plans aligned with business objectives, program demands, and long-term growth.
- Drive recruiting, onboarding, employee development, and organizational capability building.
- Partner with Engineering, Program Management, Operations, and Business Leadership to ensure early supply chain engagement in product and program development.
- Influence product and program decisions to optimize supply chain performance, affordability, producibility, and schedule outcomes.
- Own tactical and operational supply chain plans, objectives, and performance metrics.
- Manage approximately $100M $200M in annual spend through effective supplier strategy, procurement execution, subcontract management, and risk mitigation.
QUALIFICATIONS
Most importantly, you need to be a passionate
Director, Supply Chain who enjoys their work and is considered to be one of the best within your organization. The ideal
Director, Supply Chain would be someone with deep experience in many (if not all) of the following:
- Bachelor's degree with 15+ years of prior related experience, Master's degree with 13+ years, or 19+ years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
- 5+ years of FAR/DFAR contracting experience.
- Strong DoD contracting experience.
- Significant leadership experience in supply chain, procurement, subcontracts, or related functions.
- Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
- Experience with both FAR Part 15 and FAR Part 12 contracting preferred.
- Experience supporting new product or program launches preferred.
- ERP/MRP implementation experience, including Costpoint, preferred.
