We are seeking an experienced Director of Surgical Services (RN) to lead a high-performing perioperative team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care. This is an outstanding opportunity for a proven surgical services leader to oversee a large, multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Position Highlights

• Salary: $146,900 - $198,000 annually
• Full-time, exempt position
• Monday through Friday day schedule
• Leadership oversight of 114 FTEs
• 10 active operating rooms
• Approximately 9,000 annual surgical cases and 2,000 annual endoscopic procedures

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team of nurses, surgeons, anesthesia providers, and sterile processing staff
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, recruitment, employee engagement, and performance management
• Manage departmental budgets, contracts, vendor relationships, and regulatory compliance
• Monitor equipment, supplies, and operational efficiency
• Foster a culture of patient safety, collaboration, and professional development
• Implement evidence-based practices and support continuous quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Active Arizona RN License required
• Minimum 5 years of Surgical Nursing experience
• Minimum 1 year of leadership experience in a surgical setting

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Nursing or related field
• BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification
• PALS Certification
• CNOR Certification
