Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science) or equivalent practical experience.
15 years of experience in technical program management, engineering management, or related technical roles.
Experience in driving program reviews, building schedules cross-functionally, and keeping program milestones on track.
Experience working with organizations and implementing programs or initiatives across multiple product areas.

The Core team builds the technical foundation behind Google's flagship products. We are owners and advocate for the underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure at Google. We look across Google's products to build central solutions, break down technical barriers and strengthen existing systems. As the Core team, we have a mandate and a unique opportunity to impact important technical decisions across the company.
Within Core is the AI Foundations organization. AI Foundations' mission is to accelerate and scale Google's ability to deliver world-leading products in the AI era. The Software Development Ecosystems organization within the AI Foundations is focused on building developer platforms and end to end SDLCs to make people and agents effective in the AI era.
As a Director of Technical Program Management for Integrated Software Platforms, you will be a strategic leader responsible for a critical portfolio of production systems. You will lead and inspire a team of technical program managers, driving complex, multi-disciplinary programs from inception to launch. You will partner closely with senior leadership in engineering, product, and customers to define and execute the function's strategy, ensuring alignment with Google's mission to "organize the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful."Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US: $281000 - $392000 (USD) + 30% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities
Lead and inspire a high-performing team of TPMs fostering a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and belonging.
Drive the strategic outlook and roadmap for software development ecosystems programs, defining and leading strategic and operational initiatives. Manage complex project schedules, dependencies, and budgets across multiple organizations and product areas.
Serve as a key thought partner to senior leadership influencing decisions and driving alignment on Objectives and Key Results (OKRs). Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g. engineering, product, SRE, customer, finance) to drive regulatory, compliance, and technical programs from requirements through launch.
Establish a consistent cadence for program reviews, decision-making, prioritization, and resource management.
Leverage the power of AI to transform the technical program management discipline itself, developing new methodologies and tools that enhance efficiency, predictability, and impact for your team and our partners.
