    ABOUT THE ROLE

    A leading asset management firm is seeking a Director or Associate Director of FP&A to support the CFO and Technology leadership in driving financial planning, forecasting, and expense optimization initiatives. This highly visible role focuses on technology finance, cloud cost management, ROI analysis, budgeting, and strategic decision support.

    The ideal candidate will have strong FP&A experience, a background in technology finance, and expertise with cloud financial management and planning tools.

    RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Lead forecasting, annual budgeting, long-range planning, and scenario analysis.
    • Develop budget-to-forecast reporting, variance analysis, and executive reporting.
    • Build ROI analyses and financial models for technology investments and strategic initiatives.
    • Create dashboards and analytics to improve expense visibility and identify cost-saving opportunities.
    • Partner with Technology leadership to optimize cloud and infrastructure spending.
    • Collaborate with Procurement on vendor negotiations and cost optimization strategies.
    • Monitor technology spend trends and recommend process improvements.
    • Support financial planning through cloud cost management, forecasting, and reporting tools.
    • Build relationships with cross-functional stakeholders to align spending with business objectives.
    • Stay current on emerging technologies and best practices in technology finance.

    QUALIFICATIONS
    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
    • 7+ years of progressive FP&A or finance experience, including 4+ years supporting technology or IT finance.
    • Strong experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and executive reporting.
    • Hands-on experience with cloud cost management tools (AWS Cost Explorer, Athena) and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Excel).
    • Knowledge of cloud pricing models, FinOps, and cloud cost optimization techniques.
    • Experience performing ROI analysis for technology initiatives.
    • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
    • Experience with ERP, Procure-to-Pay, and FP&A systems (Business Central, Coupa, Anaplan) preferred.
    • Python or SQL experience is a plus.
