Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm

Job Summary: The Director of Title IX supervises the EOP Title IX Investigators related to student-accused reports of Prohibited Conduct as described in the Title IX and Sexual Misconduct Policy and assists the Title IX Coordinator in hearings related to that process. Conducts investigations based on allegations of Prohibited Conduct as described in the Title IX and Sexual Misconduct Policy, Harassment Policy, Equal Opportunity and Non-Discrimination Policy Statement, Consensual Romantic Relationship Policy, or other applicable UA Policy. Provides training and campus outreach. Serves as the University's Deputy Title IX Coordinator.

Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and six (6) years of Title IX allegation investigation experience; OR master's degree and four (4) years of Title IX allegation investigation experience.

Skills and Knowledge: Knowledge of applicable laws related to sexual misconduct. Investigative, interviewing, and report writing skills. Excellent organization skills, time management skills, and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills including verbal, written, and interpersonal. Excellent presentation and facilitation skills with emphasis on education and training for a wide audience. Ability to maintain strict deadlines. Ability to handle confidential information and documentation. Strong ability to manage a team and train new employees. Legal/policy analysis and compliance. Self-motivated.

Preferred Qualifications: Juris Doctorate or related Master's Degree and 3 years of experience in higher education investigating reports related to Title IX, Title VII, Student Conduct, and/ sexual misconduct OR a Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience in higher education investigating reports related to Title IX, Title VII, Student Conduct and/or sexual misconduct.
