We are seeking an exceptional Director of Finance Transformation lead end-to-end modernization of financial processes, technology platforms, and data foundations across its global finance organization. This role will serve as a key driver in simplifying finance processes, implementing next-generation Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) systems, embedding a scalable finance data foundation, and operationalizing artificial intelligence (AI) to enable Disney Finance to be top quartile in efficiency and effectiveness as an organization.

This role will report directly to the Vice President, Finance Transformation and will work closely with senior finance, technology, and business stakeholders to design and execute a multi-year roadmap that reimagines how Disney’s finance teams plan, analyze, and drive decision-making.

What you will gain?

+ A front-row seat in modernizing the finance function of one of the world’s most iconic companies.

+ Opportunity to drive measurable impact at enterprise scale—improving decision speed, cost efficiency, and data quality.

+ The ability to work with cutting-edge technology and shape the future of AI in corporate finance.

What you will Do:

Finance Process Simplification & Strategic Transformation:

+ Lead enterprise-wide process simplification efforts

+ Redesign planning, forecasting, reporting, and variance analysis processes for speed, clarity, and control.

+ Develop a set of actionable blueprints outlining concrete steps to establish an Enterprise-wide, “single-source-of-truth" data architecture and governance model

+ Partner with finance leadership to align on future-state roles, responsibilities, and governance models

Technology Implementation & Data Foundation

+ Champion modernization of the finance function through digital tools in partnership with Tech leadership and stakeholders

+ Leverage the unified EPM implementation to drive Finance-led transformation.

+ Drive development of a centralized finance data foundation, data analytics with standard hierarchies, master data governance, and connected source systems

AI & Automation at Scale

+ Identify and embed AI/ML use cases (e.g., automated forecasting, scenario modeling, intelligent variance analysis) across planning and reporting cycles.

+ Develop operating models for AI agents to augment human decision-making.

+ Establish scalable governance and change management frameworks

Program Leadership & Execution

+ Lead cross-functional transformation programs with clear KPIs, milestones, and executive visibility.

+ Manage vendors, system integrators, and internal teams to deliver against scope, budget, and timeline.

+ Develop capability throughout the organization to configure and maintain models and data.

+ Guide, coach and mentor the team to be able to navigate, be agile and deliver in a complex environment. Influence key collaborators across the organization, ensuring successful implementation of transformation initiatives that drive long-term, sustainable results.

Required Qualifications & Skills

+ 10+ years of progressive experience in finance, strategy, or transformation roles.

+ Deep expertise in FP&A, EPM systems (e.g., Oracle Cloud EPM, Anaplan, OneStream), and finance data architecture.

+ Proven track record of leading complex transformation programs involving both process redesign and technology enablement.

+ Familiarity with AI/ML in finance settings, including forecast modeling and intelligent automation.

+ Experience leading cross-functional teams in large matrixed organizations; media/entertainment experience a plus.

+ Demonstrated business acumen with well-developed planning and analytical skills, using a global perspective

+ Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement, and program management skills.

+ Effective collaboration skills with experience working cross-functionally with senior leaders, external consultants, and other key stakeholders

+ Ability to expertly field both internal & external business requests and manage priorities

+ Strong initiative and ability to bring order to ambiguity. Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to drive projects to completion

+ Ability to function effectively in a highly charged executive environment, and the ability to discern when to act independently

+ Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field

+ MBA or CPA is preferred
