What You'll Do
As Vice President/Director of Education Services, you will:
- Provide strategic leadership and oversight of all educational programming and service delivery
- Supervise and evaluate the Whitney Hall School Principal, ensuring accountability for program performance and outcomes
- Lead organizational strategic planning, program development, and cross-departmental initiatives
- Serve as the primary liaison with external agencies, including the Connecticut State Department of Education and Department of Children and Families
- Ensure compliance with all state and regulatory requirements for special education programming
- Oversee educational budget development, management, and alignment with organizational goals
- Lead quality improvement initiatives, using data to drive student outcomes and program effectiveness
- Oversee student enrollment, referral processes, and census management to ensure appropriate utilization and capacity
- Provide oversight of staffing structures, workforce planning, and recruitment strategies
- Ensure implementation and fidelity of educator evaluation systems, including SEED
- Provide oversight of the TEAM program and educator development initiatives
- Monitor data systems, reporting, and student records to ensure compliance and informed decision-making
- Provide guidance to the administrative team on IEP processes and support complex or high-risk cases as needed
- Collaborate with PRTF leadership and internal programs to ensure alignment and continuity of services
- Oversee policy development, implementation, and alignment across educational programming
- Support the development of safe, inclusive, and therapeutic learning environments across programs
- Participate in senior leadership meetings and organizational initiatives
- Perform other duties as assigned to support program success
What We're Looking For
- CT Certification in Intermediate Administration or Supervision (Endorsement #092) and
- Holds Social Worker Certification (#071) with the Connecticut Department of Education
- Holds Special Education Certification (#165) with the Connecticut Department of Education
