Responsible for communicating and coordinating the movement of patients to and from University of Virginia Health using various resources such as ambulances, wheelchair vans, taxis, buses, and other means of transportation. Responsible for communicating with various internal and external customers involved with patient movement and medical center operations.
Work requires detailed knowledge of regional geography, familiarity with insurance coverages, and application and interpretation of organizational and departmental policies and procedures.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: High school diploma/GED
Experience: Relevant experience in the field.
Licensure
May be required based on position requirements.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
The pay range for this role is $20.00 - $24.24 hourly. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate"s qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.
