Dishwasher/Cleaner
 

Arsicault Bakery, a San Francisco original since 2015, known to have one of the best croissants in SF Bay Area is growing!

Situated conveniently in the heart of San Francisco, our Civic Center location at 87 McAllister St. is seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher/Cleaner to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen and back of house area.

Responsibilities include:

• Wash dishes, pots, pans, cooking vessels, baking appliances and utensils by hand in a 3-compartment sink or using an industrial dishwasher.
• Dry, stack and store clean dishes and utensils in designated areas.
• Maintain a clean and organized bakery environment in dish room and all of back of house area including restroom and all hand sinks.
• Wipe down ovens, refrigerators/freezers, dumbwaiter, worktables, appliances and equipment.
• Sweep and mop floors at end of day including dish room, kitchen and restroom. 
• Clean the back of house restroom and all hand sinks, replenishing soap and towel dispensers.
• Lock and take trashcans to the curb at EOD for pick up and return them to the garbage room the following morning.
• Follow all food safety regulations guidelines per SF Health Department Regulations pertaining to sanitation, food handling and storage as well as personal hygiene.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by the bakery manager.

Requirements for the position: 

• Previous experience as a dishwasher or cleaner in a similar role preferred.
• Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Must be able to stand, move and climb stairs for the duration of shift.
• Quick learner with ability to take direction and feedback well.
• Must be ready to start at 8 am including weekends and holidays.
• ServSafe certified.
