Dishwasher - Akron General

Legacy Staffing has partnered with a World-Class Hospital in Akron, OH to hire a Dishwasher. We are hiring for first shift opportunities with a starting pay rate of $15/hour. This role focuses on maintaining a clean, sanitary, and efficient kitchen environment through the cleaning of dishes, utensils, cookware, and food service equipment while supporting daily food service operations. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, trays, cookware, and kitchen equipment. 
• Operate dishwashing equipment while following proper sanitation and safety procedures. 
• Maintain a clean and organized dish room, kitchen, and food service work areas. 
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and infection control guidelines. 
• Dispose of waste and recycling materials according to department procedures. 
• Restock clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen supplies as needed. 
• Assist with general kitchen cleaning and support food service operations. 
• Follow all workplace safety policies and procedures. 

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required. 
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in food service, dishwashing, environmental services, hospitality, or a related field is recommended, but not required 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively. 
• Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift. 
• Strong attention to cleanliness, sanitation, and workplace safety. 
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
