Legacy Staffing has partnered with a World-Class Hospital in Akron, OH to hire Dishwashers. We are currently hiring for both Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities at a pay rate starting at $15/hour. This role focuses on maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen environment by properly cleaning dishes, utensils, cookware, and food service equipment while supporting daily hospital food service operations. The position is fast-paced and requires standing for extended periods while following strict sanitation and safety guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Clean and sanitize dishes, trays, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
• Operate commercial dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout kitchen and food service areas
• Follow hospital sanitation, safety, and infection control procedures
• Remove trash and assist with general kitchen housekeeping duties
• Restock supplies and support kitchen staff as needed
• Ensure workstations remain clean and compliant with health standards
Required Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous dishwasher, food service, hospitality, or kitchen experience preferred
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout an entire shift
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to cleanliness, safety, and detail
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic
Shift Details:
- 1st Shift—Full-Time opportunity: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM); Every weekend
- 2nd Shift—Full and Part-Time opportunities: (12:00 PM – 8:30 PM); Every weekend
