Dishwasher

Position Summary: 

Rhinegeist Brewery is looking for a dependable, hardworking Dishwasher to help keep our kitchen running smoothly. As an essential member of our culinary team, you'll play a key role in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen while supporting our cooks and chefs during service.

Essential Functions

• Wash dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dish room and kitchen.
• Empty trash and recycling throughout each shift.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors as needed.
• Assist with receiving and putting away deliveries.
• Support the kitchen team with basic cleaning and prep tasks when needed.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.

Requirements 

• Previous dishwashing or kitchen experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for 6-8 hours per shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to travel up and down stairs multiple times during the shift
