Job Summary: Maintains kitchen work areas and restaurant equipment and utensils in clean and orderly condition by performing the following duties. Duties/Responsibilities: - Scrapes food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine.
- Washes pots, pans, and trays.
- Sweeps and mops kitchen floors.
- Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks.
- Segregates and removes trash and garbage and places it in designated containers.
- Cleans and sanitize garbage cans.
- Sorts silverware.
- Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
- Keeps work area clean and free of clutter.
- Must wear black non-slip shoes or temporary non-slip shoe covers.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities: - Ability to obtain a gaming license as needed from Wyoming Gaming Commission.
- Ability to follow all food safety guidelines.
Education and Experience: - High school diploma or GED preferred.
- One (1) year’s labor experience preferably in a restaurant.
Physical Requirements: - Employee is regularly required to stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
- Employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and taste or smell.
- Employees must be able to lift, push or pull up to 50 pounds.
