    At Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park, you'll play an essential role behind the scenes, supporting concerts, weddings, private events, catering, concessions, and daily dining operations. 
    Our Dishwashers are a critical part of the culinary team, ensuring chefs and service staff have clean equipment, cookware, and service ware needed to create exceptional guest experiences.

    What You'll Do
    • Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment
    • Maintain clean, organized, and safe dishwashing and kitchen areas
    • Support cafe, catering, concessions, banquet, and event operations
    • Restock clean dishes, glassware, and kitchen supplies throughout service
    • Assist with event setup, breakdown, and kitchen support as needed
    • Follow food safety, sanitation, and cleaning standards
    • Work closely with chefs, cooks, and hospitality staff to keep operations running smoothly
    • Receive and verify food, beverage, and supply deliveries for accuracy, and report discrepancies to the designated manager
    • Stock and organize products using First In, First Out (FIFO) practices while maintaining clean and orderly storage spaces
    • Help maintain a positive, team-oriented work environment
    What We're Looking For
    • At least 18 years of age
    • Reliable transportation
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
    • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
    • Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
    Preferred
    • Previous dishwasher, kitchen utility, restaurant, catering, hospitality, or food service experience
    • Experience working in high-volume kitchens or event environments
    • Knowledge of commercial dishwashing equipment and food safety practices
