Dishwasher - Hen Quarter

Join our team as a Dishwasher at Hen Quarter, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of our kitchen. As a dedicated member of the back-of-house team, you'll ensure that dishes, utensils, and equipment are clean and ready for service, contributing to the seamless operation of our Southern culinary experience. • Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment using appropriate methods and tools.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen area, including sweeping and mopping floors.
• Support the kitchen staff by ensuring a steady supply of clean dishes and utensils during peak service times.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to maintain hygiene and cleanliness standards throughout the kitchen.

Physical Requirements:

• Dishwashing experience in a high-volume restaurant preferred.
• Able to read documents and written instructions to understand sanitation requirements, safety rules, equipment operation and maintenance, policies, and standard operating procedures.
• Certification in food safety and sanitation is a plus.
• Able to work flexible shifts and schedules, inclusive of weekends, and all holidays.
• Stand for long hours, often in wet conditions.
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs (racks of dishes, garbage bags).
• Work in a hot, humid, and fast-paced environment.
• Bend, stoop, and reach frequently.
• Operate dishwashing equipment safely.
