We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Bakery Assistant to join our fast-paced bakery team. This position will assist with cake decorating and general bakery duties while helping keep the work area clean, organized, and running efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Assist cake decorators by bringing cakes, trays, and baked goods to the decorating area.
• Help prepare cakes and other baked goods for decorating.
• Assist with basic cake decorating tasks as trained.
• Wash dishes, pans, trays, utensils, and other bakery equipment.
• Keep workstations, equipment, and bakery areas clean and organized.
• Move trays and products safely and efficiently throughout the bakery.
• Help maintain a steady workflow in a busy, fast-paced environment.
• Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Assist other bakery employees with additional duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing physical tasks.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and organization.
• Able to work well as part of a team.
• Previous bakery or cake decorating experience is a plus, but willing to train the right person.
