We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team. As a Dishwasher, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests. If you have a strong work ethic, a keen eye for cleanliness, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, we welcome your application.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment using industrial dishwashing equipment
- Ensure that all items are properly cleaned, dried, and stored in designated areas
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks, such as peeling and chopping vegetables, as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dishwashing areas
- Adhere to proper sanitation procedures and health and safety guidelines at all times
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure the smooth flow of dishes and utensils during service
- Assist with maintaining inventory of dishwashing supplies and report any shortages to the supervisor
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Dishwasher or in a similar role is preferred, but not required
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness
- Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to collaborate with the kitchen staff
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
