Position Overview: We’re looking for a dependable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our kitchen team! The Dishwasher plays a vital role in keeping our operation running smoothly by ensuring all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are spotless, sanitized, and ready for service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean, organized dish area and kitchen workspace
- Assist with trash removal, sweeping, and mopping as needed
- Restock clean items in their proper locations
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
- Support kitchen staff by keeping stations supplied with clean equipment
- Handle dishware and kitchen tools carefully to minimize breakage
- Occasionally assist with basic prep or other back-of-house duties as directed
Key Qualifications
- Strong work ethic and a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods
- Reliable and punctual, with good time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Prior restaurant or kitchen experience preferred, but not required
- Commitment to cleanliness, organization, and safety
