Harrison Meadows Country Club is excited to announce the exceptional career opportunity of a Seasonal part-time Dishwasher/Steward. The Dishwasher / Steward is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of all kitchen areas, dishwashing stations, equipment, utensils, and storage areas. This position plays a critical role in supporting the culinary and service teams by ensuring a clean, safe, and efficient working environment while following all health and safety standards.
Compensation: $19 / hour *Please note this is a seasonal role*
Key Responsibilities:
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment promptly and efficiently.
- Operate dishwashing machines properly and safely.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen floors, mats, walls, drains, trash areas, and loading docks.
- Remove trash and recycling regularly and transport to designated disposal areas.
- Sweep and mop kitchen and storage areas throughout shifts and at closing.
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries following FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures.
- Organize and properly store clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Support kitchen staff with basic cleaning and prep tasks as assigned.
- Maintain chemical safety standards and proper handling of cleaning supplies.
- Ensure all sanitation practices comply with local health department regulations and club standards.
- Assist with banquet and restaurant breakdowns and post-event cleanup.
- Notify management of maintenance or equipment issues immediately.
- Work as part of a team to maintain efficient kitchen operations during busy service periods.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must have experience working in fast paced restaurant experience.
Other Qualifications:
- Regular and reliable attendance.
