Job Objective/Summary: The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining sanitation of dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and dishwashing equipment. This position ensures that dishwashing procedures meet CMS food safety and sanitation requirements. Assists on tray line at meal times including: activating the bases, dipping food up in bowls, pulling carts and general tray line assistance. Is responsible for the dry storage area for truck deliveries stocking, rotating, labeling, dating products. Assists with dish room between meals. Responsible for 3 compartments sink documentation log. Daily cleaning schedule assignments. Adheres to all policies and procedures for both hospital and LHHR. Wears proper uniform while on duty.
Job Educations, Licenses/Certifications, Knowledge & Experience: A high school diploma or equivalent preferred. Must have the ability to read, write, take verbal instruction and perform basic arithmetic.
