Key Responsibilities
- Ensure availability of clean dishes by bussing tables, washing dishes, pots, pans, and flatware
- Maintain a pleasant and friendly attitude while contributing to a teamwork-based environment
- Follow all sanitation and food safety codes rigorously
- Clean kitchen equipment and maintain cleanliness and organization throughout shifts
- Operate kitchen machines and equipment safely and efficiently
- Adhere to company dress and appearance policies
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalency preferred but not required
- Experience in food preparation or service is a plus but not mandatory
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions clearly
- Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills
- Knowledge of kitchen safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and managers
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand or walk for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in varying temperatures and frequent hand immersion in water and cleaning solutions
- Good vision including close and peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus
