\t\t\t\t\tThe Agricultural Sciences team, part of Disney\s Animals, Science & Environment, offers positions designed to provide you with hands-on work experience in the unique growing areas that are part of Living with The Land, an agricultural attraction at Epcot. This position in Agricultural Sciences requires a professional background in plant sciences including horticulture sciences, plant biology, nutrition, entomology, and plant tissue culture.

\t\t\t\t\tThis posting is to apply to work as a Plant Science Intern within the greenhouses at The Land Pavilion in Epcot.

\t\t\t\t\t

\t\t\t\t\tThis internship begins on January 5, 2027 (arrival) and ends on June 17, 2027 (departure date). You must be fully available for the entire period.

\t\t\t\t\t

\t\t\t\t\tPlease note that it is required that you upload a resume/CV and a cover letter for this application. We recommend that you include current and past Disney Programs experience in your resume/CV.

Responsibilities

\t\t\t\t\t \t\t\t\t\t

\t\t\t\t\t\t

• Maintain a high-quality greenhouse show of over 150 hydroponically-grown food crops from all over the globe.

\t\t\t\t\t\t

• Promote the message of sustainable agriculture for Disney Guests through participating in area operations such as insect rearing, biotechnology, hydroponic growing systems and crop research.

\t\t\t\t\t\t

• Participate in trainings, classes and meetings to contribute to the innovation and success of the Living with the Land greenhouse operation and to further individual expertise in the field of agriculture.

\t\t\t\t\t\t

• Propagate, transplant, irrigate, prune and harvest a wide variety of plants.

\t\t\t\t\t\t

• Provide show-quality maintenance and general cleanup: washing, raking, and sweeping greenhouse areas.

\t\t\t\t\t

\t\t\t\t\t \t\t\t\t\t

Basic Qualifications

\t\t\t\t\t \t\t\t\t\t

All Candidates must meet these guidelines:

\t\t\t\t\t \t\t\t\t\t

\t\t\t\t\t\t

• Interest in working with food crops in greenhouses

\t\t\t\t\t\t

• A valid U.S. Driver\s License

\t\t\t\t\t\t

• Heavy lifting of up to 50 lbs.

\t\t\t\t\t\t

• Can operate a company vehicle under inclement weather, including minimal lighting

\t\t\t\t\t\t

• Can work in hot, humid greenhouses

\t\t\t\t\t\t

• Be fully available through your offered departure date.

\t\t\t\t\t\t

• Must adhere to all Disney Look guidelines.

\t\t\t\t\t

Eligibility Requirements

• Youe at least 18 years old when you submit your application.

\t\t\t\t\t\t

• Youe currently enrolled at an accredited college or university in the United States or the United States territories and actively working toward an Associate\s, Bachelor\s, or Graduate degree*.

\t\t\t\t\t\t

• You graduated from an accredited college or university in the United States or the United States territories* within the last 12 months of this job posting. (Graduation after August 31, 2025).

\t\t\t\t\t\t

• You\ve completed at least one term at your college or university (or a minimum of 6 credit hours) towards your degree before your program start date.

\t\t\t\t\t\t

• Youe in good academic standing at your school. Speak to your advisor to understand your school's requirements for participating in an off-campus program.

\t\t\t\t\t\t

• You have valid work authorization in the United States for the full duration of your program. U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, green card holders, and F-1 students with valid OPT or CPT authorization are all welcome.

Candidates who receive an offer will be required to pay the Program Participation Fee & Housing Fee within days of their program offer date.

\t\t\t\t\t\t*US includes all 50 states plus Puerto Rico and all other US territories.

Candidates currently participating on a Disney Program must meet these guidelines:

\t\t\t\t\t \t\t\t\t\t

\t\t\t\t\t\t

• Have arrived June 15, 2026 or later, no exceptions will be made. Please be aware that you cannot participate in consecutive programs totaling more than one calendar year, including any combination of Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internships.

\t\t\t\t\t\t

• A $240 non-refundable Extension Program Participation Fee is due upon accepting your extension offer. If you have a registered vehicle, a $75 parking decal renewal fee applies, or $150 for a new decal. Parking decals are limited, available first come, first served, and require a vehicle to be pre-registered in DORMS. If you have already accepted an extension in your current role and location, an additional Program Participation Fee will not be required.

• No more than FOUR (4) attendance points within the last six (6) months (not including early shift releases or authorized days off); No more than ONE (1) reprimand within the last six (6) months.
