Job Summary

The Dispatch Coordinator supports daily operational activities within a transportation and logistics environment. This role assists the Central Dispatcher with freight and driver coordination, performs data entry, and prepares daily revenue reporting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced dispatch setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Central Dispatcher with the displacement and coordination of freight and drivers (80%)
• Perform miscellaneous data entry tasks to support dispatch operations (10%)
• Produce the daily Revenue Report and complete data entry of bills (10%)
• Monitor and update GeoTab electronic logs to ensure compliance
• Follow established procedures and maintain accuracy in all documentation
• Communicate effectively with drivers, internal teams, and external partners
• Support general operational tasks as needed to maintain workflow efficiency

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of payroll processes and payroll systems
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to learn new systems and follow established procedures
• Experience with GeoTab electronic logs preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
